I bought this toaster because my old one toasted only one side of the bread and this one does absolutely the same.
Cheap toaster for what I paid for
If you want to buy a new toaster every year buy this one!! Awful controls, crumb containment non-existent! Half of the heating coils went caput after 6 months. I'm going to study up before my next toaster purchase.

This toaster is very nice & well made!

Toast opening small.
The bread needs to be on the smaller side otherwise it doesn’t drop down enough.
Cheap Feeling
Super light weight so it feels cheap and tips easy. Returned it for the Kitchenaid which is much better.
Labels on buttons faded
Toaster works fine, but in a matter of months the lettering on the buttons have faded (took a photo to attach, but no feature on Macy’s site to do that). Good thing I’ve memorized the buttons!
Disappointing
I really liked the modern look of this toaster but in a matter on months the letters on the buttons of the toaster have faded until basically unreadable. No family member or friend have ever had this happen to their Cuisinart toaster. I contacted the company and was told they do not cover this under warranty. Very disappointing!
Super nice
Have been using for over a year, works perfectly, looks modern. Would buy again
