I prefer filling coffee from the machine, rather than pouring from an urn. The little light is also helpful to get the right fill level. Easy to set up, brew and clean. Timer is great too, for scheduling. I bought one for my office and then got one for home.

Coffee on Demand 12 Cup Programmable Coffee Maker
This is not my first purchase of this coffee maker. We have used one of these for many, many years. My only fear is that you will stop making these. It is so much easier to use, and I love being able to flip the button and have coffee in a matter of minutes, since we put the ground coffee and water in the night before. Much easier to clean, not having to wash a carafe. We love this coffee maker.

The Push Lever is a wonderful feature.
This coffee maker is not ONLY sleek and functional but it also it makes delicious coffee in no time. The special quality that my husband and I really enjoy is the push lever that delivers the coffee into your cup. It's drip-free without any spills.

Power cord too short!
The power cord is too short. If your coffee maker is on the kitchen counter and plugged in under your cabinets the steam coming out of the machine during brewing may damage your overhead cabinets. I have moved my coffee maker to the laundry room; not convenient.

No more broken carafe's
We've had this Coffee on Demand Coffee Maker for almost 12 years. We use it everyday and I absolutely love it. We went through too many glass carafe's to mention. I even had a stainless steel carafe at one point. Yes, I'm ready for a new one although this one is working fine.

Not What They Used To Be...
I have had a couple of these over the years. First one I bought from a yard sale and it was fabulous and lasted over ten years! Bought a new one the second time around and it lasted almost as long! Bought the 3rd brand new from Macy's and right out of the box the unit had trouble. It wouldn't sit level on the counter and therefore leaked. Returned it for another one -- and it leaks even worse! Ugh. Makes great coffee BUT these last two units are extremely loud when they perk! They sputter, cough, chug and create so much noise and steam everywhere. Not nice while someone else in the house is still asleep and it sounds like you are making popcorn!!!! I will be returning this one as well. Disappointed in Cuisinart. Loved them but not anymore.
