Coffee doesn’t stay hot

The craft is heavy, coffee doesn’t stay hot (pot seems to shut off after brewing), top to small to get hand into wash. Not happy with purchase.

Happy coffee drinker

We love our coffee pot. The insulated carafe is the best. It keeps the coffee hot and doesn’t have a burnt taste like glass carafes do after sitting for a couple of hours. We highly recommend this coffee pot.

12 Cup Programmable Thermal Coffee Maker

Very stylish, stainless and love the stainless steel carafe vs a glass carafe. Uses a #4 Cone filter and they supply a couple to get you started. It also has a Bold function which I like a bolder cup of coffee. So far I am pleased with the results, quality and functions of this coffee maker/

Very Disappointed

I've had nothing but Cuisinart coffee makers for years but I'm disappointed in this model. Because it does not have a heated element, the coffee temperature starts to fall as soon as the pot is done brewing. I bought it specifically to keep my coffee hot but the thermal carafe is not as effective as the traditional glass carafe on a heated element. I tried the suggestions - preheating the carafe with hot water, filling the reservoir with warm water - but still the coffee is not especially hot when first brewed and the temp starts to go down immediately.

Keeps coffee hot

This is awesome. It keeps the coffee hot and the best part of the carafe. It’s not glass. I cannot tell you how many glass carafes I’ve broken and had to replace the entire coffee maker because they don’t sell replacements.
