Wake up to fresh, hot coffee!

This programmable coffee maker has a nice design and is well made. The coffee temperature is hot when brewed and stays warm longer in the thermal carafe. Because it’s a 12 cup coffee maker, the carafe is heavier than our previous 10 cup Cuisinart thermal coffee maker. If this lasts as long as our previous one, we certainly won’t have to make another purchase any time soon!

Solid coffeemaker with unique features

This unit replaced another Cuisinart model after over nine years of faithful service. Both machines made great coffee. What I appreciate most about the Cuisinart system is the built-in charcoal filter system. As far as I know, no other manufacturer provides one. The unique feature of this machine is the thermal carafe. Wow, it is as solid as a tank and keeps coffee hot without cooking it with a hot plate. My only gripe with the carafe is that the opening at the top is too small to fit a hand in to clean it. I supposed that design keeps in the heat, so there is the trade-off. I bought a dish brush on a handle to use just to clean this item.
