Nice while it lasted.
Well, I’ve had this grinder for about 45 days or so. Have used it maybe 25 times. This morning, I put beans in and started using as I had in the past. The grinder struggled to process the beans and eventually stopped working all together. I unplugged it and googled the situation. Seemed advisable to let it cool down, so I made a cup from Keurig and began my day. Then I got a request to offer a review of the Cuisinart grinder and thought: perfect time to share. Before drafting this review, I tried the grinder one more time to see if 30 minutes to cool would work. But it didn’t. So, while the grinder was good for its very short life, I’m afraid durability could be an issue. I will be contacting for a replacement today.

Good little utility tool
After ordering - and returning - an expensive coffee bean grinder, we purchased the Cuisinart. It fits perfectly with our needs. I'm able to get the grind level we like for brewing. The grinder itself is easy to use and clean. The only item keeping it from a 5-star review is that it is a little messy when transferring from grinder cup to coffee pot or storage container. You have to grind a smaller amount for the ground coffee to stay within the cup provided.
