I was so pleased when I saw that Cusinart makes an all in one grind and brew. I already own a Cuisinart coffee grinder, 12 cup coffee maker, air fryer, non stick pots and pans and countless other small appliances and utensils. I replaced my current single cup brewer (K) with the grind and brew. Not only is the Cuisinart faster but actually brews a better cup of coffee. And now being able to grind the perfect amount of beans I don’t have to pre grind them. This machine is sleek, stylish, perfectly sized to stay out in the counter top and works flawlessly. I am so glad I got it before the holidays because it sold out in black within a week of me purchasing it. I have already recommended this and the larger grind and brew to at least 2 dozen friends and family and a few already purchased it upon trying mine. If you like fresh ground and brewed coffee Cuisinart is the way to go. Not just for the amazing low price but the quality and attention to detail like the storage slot for the grinder filter and holder.

This unit makes very good coffee, but the grinder spills grounds on the plate beneath. I estimate that if you make around ten cups of coffee, the wasted grounds would be enough to make one more cup.

Love it. Plus a couple caveats
I love the ability to freshly grind beans right before each cup of coffee. It is very simple and quick to brew a cup and the temperature is just right. A couple of areas for improvement: getting the beans into the hopper is a trick. It took me a while, but I figured out a system that is 90% full proof. But may be a funnel shaped bean hopper would be a better idea. Also, the grounds just leak out of the burr onto the drip catcher and then kind of eventually gather all around the spot where I keep my coffee maker. I believe all burger grind makers do this though. There are different tricks you can use to minimize the mess.
