New

Ive always wanted to have a grinder coffee maker so that I can enjoy the full bodied taste of coffee instead of the pods that I was used to drinking. I simply enjoy the convenience of making my own full flavored coffee and the wonderful fragrance of freshly brewed coffee. Thank you Cuisinart for making this possible.

cleaning

It makes a cup of coffee very well but cleaning the grounds into a recyclable container proves to be more difficult. I hope that you will consider supplying a second basket for the grounds so the first can dry out and be easier to maintain.

Perfect for me.

I have had a grinder / brewer coffee maker for many years. It finally gave out. I was looking for a replacement, but they were all too expensive for my needs. Found the Cuisinart Single Server grinder brewer. It is perfect for me. 1. Good price. 2. I can grind one pod of coffee. Brew a cup of coffee. Then reuse the same pod to brew a second cup. 3. The old maker had a full size basket and took a little time to dump out the grinds and then flush out the rest from basket. Also had to rinse out the pot. Now I just tap the grinds out of the small pod, quick run under faucet, and throw cup in washer. I'm done. The only thing I would like for is the grinder to stop grinding 3 or 4 seconds sooner. The pod is jus over filled a little too much for me.

May Go Back

Haven't used since I found the item on the manufacturers website for 40.00 less so I may return it and get it from them. Also, the reviews generally say the product starts out well but then there are major leakage issues and messy coffee grounds all over the place.

Machine issues

The machine did not work after 3 months. The coffee pods exploded and steam came out of the machine.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Issues like pod rupture or excess steam can sometimes occur if the pod is not properly pierced through with the needle, the brew head isn’t fully closed, or if there is buildup that may require cleaning or descaling—please ensure the unit is clean and pods are positioned correctly before brewing. For safety concerns and further troubleshooting, we’d like to assist you directly. Please contact our Consumer Assistance Center at 1-800-726-0190 and reference ticket #8900998460, and thank you for your feedback—it helps us improve future models and better support our consumers. Not so great, 3rd time was not the charm.

I’m getting ready to send back my 3rd one. First one didn't light up to make coffee and second and third ones leak water all over the place. I think this is a terrible design. So far Cuisinart has been good about sending a new one, although they wanted me to cut the cord and send in a picture to prove I cut it before they would send me the new one in approximately 10 days. I said no way was I going to go without coffee for 10 days, and I wasn’t going to go buy a cheap “fill in” coffee maker either. They agreed and sent me a new one and when I got it I cut the chord and sent them a picture. I think this time I just want a refund, I think 4 is a little excessive. Just not a good design. We’ll see.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration after multiple replacements, though we’re glad we were able to assist you through the warranty process.
