LOVE THIS! BEST THING TO HAVE!

I bought this food processor thinking it would be as small as my mini food processor. It is HUGE! And surprisingly thats a good thing. I bake and cook a lot and this machine is QUIET!! OMG! Can I say quiet one more time? and yet POWERFUL! The look overall is gorgeous in my kitchen. It is HEAVY! just a heads up, but the quality is amazing! Overall super satisfied!

Dream Machine!

Hubby and I recently adopted a vegan lifestyle and I have been trying my hand at falafels. My blender offered subpar performance so my hunt for a food processor began. After comparing more than a dozen models, settled on this beauty. This machine is outstanding! Bought for a PHENOMENAL price at my local Macy's and I am equally impressed with the performance. Instructions were easy to follow and I was able to put everything together in a snap. At 600 watts this processor is very powerful. Ground my dried chickpeas in seconds and was very quiet. No bounce around on the countertops like the reviews for some other processors mentioned. The base is sturdy and weighty. The possibilities are endless for speeding up my food prep now, and the machine was a breeze to clean after use. I am over the moon!

Very disappointed!

This appliance is an excellent piece of kitchen equipment but I bought it on clearance. I asked at the time if the appliance was defective or just no longer had the box. I was told it works fine but it was a display & they no longer had the box or manual. I knew I could download the manual so I bought it. When I downloaded the manual it showed I was missing 3 blades. Now I will have to order those through the manufacturer, so it now makes the purchase a poor choice not a good buy! I hate to be lied to! It is being discontinued so who knows if the blades will even be available!

Works great. So quiet. Can't hear a thing. Grated cheese in seconds.

Defective product, totally disappointing

Bought this processor after reading all the rave reviews. Also, thought that Cuisinart was a reputable brand. Was so excited to get my processor. Planning to make an avocado, key lime pie with nuts and dates for crust. Went to the store to purchase all the ingredients for my pie. Read through all the directions and watched an online "how to assemble" and "how to use" the Cuisinart DLC-2007MBCY 7C Food Processor. Got it assembled, got all my ingredients together and BAM!...The processor did not work, it wouldn't even turn on. I tried plugging it into different outlets, thinking there might be something going on there, but no. Turned it to on, turned it to pulse, nothing. Tried on and pulse at the same time, nothing. Looked to see if it might need a battery, no. Looked to see if there was possible an on switch on the back or side or underneath, anywhere for a clue, nothing. The processor was dead would not even turn on. So disappointed. Was looking forward to baking this weekend. Now I have to take time out of my busy schedule to return. Instead of baking a yummy pie, I will be spending time returning this defective, broken product. Don't waste your time with this one.

Great machine!

This is the best food processor I have ever used. It is not very loud either. The large mouth makes adding food a breeze.
