Started smoking and wouldn't shut off

It's currently sitting outside in a snowbank. While mixing cookie batter, it started smoking and wouldn't turn off. Had to run outside (guess what my kitchen walls look like?) and ditch this smoking bomb. It continued running for another 3 minutes or so while smoking. Glad to report it didn't ignite. The house stinks like burnt lithium or metal or whatever, but not freshly baked cookies. Not sure I am going to go the cordless route in the future.

Totally worth it

Really rate this, the wireless of it all is super handy. It's really powerful. I can use the whisk for making meringue, the blender (which I normally use in the jug provided) is really handy and the chopper is powerful. Fits a tin of chopped tomatoes which is handy and more than my old food chopper does. The battery lasts a long time as well.
