I’m using coffee grinds not the beans , but I pressed 1-4 and nothing is happening.. I was able to clean it and set the clock but no coffee,, obviously I put water

Very loud when grinding. The drip free is not! Coffee goes everywhere when pouring. I still have not figured out why. This replaced one I had for 10 years. Not as good

13 days agoLoud grinder and bad coffee pot that spills
I will keep it clear and concise. Grinder is extremely loud but the coffee pot also spills almost 9 out of 10 times when I pour my coffee into a cup or when I’m pouring water into the water tank. I don’t understand if there is a trick but I wish I could get a machine that wouldn’t do those things I mentioned.

It stopped grinding when set on 12 cups. You have to switch it to 10 and back to 12 when it starts. You have to use grind for 12 with 8 cups of water and the highest “strength” setting to get a decent cup of coffee. Lousy.

This Cuisinart coffee maker replaced a single brew machine. I love the option of ground coffee or whole beans. No need to buy a separate grinder. Very happy with functionality and taste of the coffee.

Coffee is not strong enough/decanter is unusable!
I have been purchasing Cuisinart products for 30 years, and this coffee maker is the worst appliance I have ever purchased from them. Unfortunately, I purchased a number of products for a new home, which I just recently moved into and started using all the appliances, so Cuisinart won't allow a return as it has been over 30 days. Bottomline, Cuisinart has to know that this product has a defect, I see the same complaints all over the internet--yet they don't want to replace the maker. Here are the issues: 1) The darkest setting for the grinder still is not very strong, and I am using dark roast beans, no way to adjust for a darker brew; 2) It is impossible to pour coffee from this decanter without it spilling all over the counter--it just sprays out from the spout --this complaint is all over the internet, not just me, p[our slow, pour fast, doesn't mater it will splatter coffee all over the counter. 3) The filter basket is slightly smaller than usually for this basket size filter, I have two other Cuisinart coffee-makers (at another home) with the same filter (flat-bottom basket filters), and they are slightly wider at the top, hence if you are doing a full pot, it overflows slightly and makes a mess. BOTTOMLINE: Do not buy this coffee maker, buy Cuisinart's burr grinder (works very well) and get a regular drip maker instead. This one is going to a land fill unfortunately as Cuisinart is failing to support a return on a product they know is faulty. And they have no re-designed replacement carafes that don't spill...don't they test these before mass production??
