Does Not Make Good Coffee

We have used Cuisinart for years and have always been happy with the quality of the coffee. With my standard Cuisinart coffee maker, I grind my beans the night before and set the coffee maker for the morning. I decided to upgrade to the Grind and Brew thinking that the freshly ground coffee would be an improvement. I don't know if it is the filter (the other models use a cone filter and this one uses a basket), but the coffee is weak. I have to use a lot more coffee than my old maker. I'm going back to the standard Cuisinart Coffee Maker.

Do not buy

Not a good machine All coffee that gets grinned does not make the filter to be used, waste Biggest thing is the carafe is not stable, doesn’t fit in slot securely, can fall out, a breaking hazard not safe or you can end up making counter coffee. Way too many parts to clean or break. Even after adding extra beans coffee is weak, another waste.

Perfect Coffee Maker for a Coffee Snob!

My wife love fresh ground coffee. Every morning she grinds her coffee and then boils water. She absolutely loves her new grind and time set coffee machine! She was so excited and absolutely loves it!

Improved version of the Auto-grind coffee maker

My wife purchased a Cuisinart auto-grind coffee maker for me about 25 years ago. It was still working, but we purchased a new one. It was VERY similar, but with some nice upgrades. The coffee grinder is better muffled and less noisy. The filter holder is latched in better and won't "pop" out unexpectedly. Plus, I LOVE the programmer! I like waking up to a fresh brewed cup of coffee. All in all, I think I'm set for the next 25 years.

Good but a little disappointed

I love the style of this coffee maker, it makes great coffee, it’s easy enough to clean, I like that it can be easily programmed so I can get up to coffee ready to pour. I just wish it could hold more beans, the listing said it grinds beans but didn’t really make clear you have to add a single quantity of beans every time you want to use it especially as there is more space in the top

Excellent replacement for our older Grind 'n Brew

This re-designed Grind 'n Brew is easier to clean. The water level window on the side beats needing to open the top on the older model to peek down in the reservoir to hit the 6 cup mark we always use. Whilst grinding it's a little louder than the old one, no big deal, it only grinds for a minute or so.
