I am very pleased with the ice cream maker. As said, the ice cream comes out soft and creamy. Since I have a large family, my goal is to make various flavors of ice cream and put them in containers in the freezer, so I have a good supply always. When frozen, the consistency is firm and very nice. We live in the country, far away from grocery stores that sell high quality ice cream, so transporting ice cream without having it melt was not possible. I wanted to make my own ice cream with the best of ingredients, and now I am able to do so.

The icream maker works well and easy to use. Is a little loud.

I hold Cuisinart in high esteem for their quality products. When I was looking for a frozen dessert maker I was impressed with the simplicity and cost of this appliance. I couldn't be happier and neither can my family and friends.

Follow the manufacturer's directions carefully, keep your freezer below zero degrees Fahrenheit, use quality ingredients, use egg based recipes for richer, creamer ice cream and you will be rewarded with some of the best tasting ice cream EVER! The machine and the process are not complicated, difficult or needlessly time consuming. I love my machine and the ice cream it makes!

This great machine arrived in the middle of a very hot, humid summer. Immediately I made and shred with neighbors coffee ice cream—they now depend upon me!!!
