Great cooktop.

Fantastic cook top. Even heating of stainless steel and cast iron cookware. Wish I could find some parts for it, I managed to use it to break a tumble...

Speedy Efficient Cooking

This cooktop heating feature is fast and responsive. At first just having arrows to guide cook adjustment seems like not enough information. Once you get the feel for how quickly the heat adjusts it creates an effective and speedy cook process. Since giving up a gas stove this cooktop is supporting my new style of assembling meals rather than slaving over 4 gas burners. The support I receive is an efficient and easy to clean up meal prep. A bit noisy but my previous induction cooktop was too and you get used to it.

It works well but it is noisy

It works well but it is noisy. It heats the pans slower than our induction stove, but that should be expected of a 110 volt plug-in device.

Worth the price

Works as advertised. Can be used as a substitute for a stovetop or simply at a party to keep presentations warm. We have used it both ways when our range died and at parties.

I've never been so happy in the kitchen

Unwilling to ever use a gas stove again, my cooktop is the best thing that I've ever purchased for my kitchen. Easy to use, the cooktop uses ordinary outlets for power, and cooks everything quickly with pots and pans designed for induction. I wish I had a 240 line for a full induction oven, but alas, our building doesn't allow it.

Could be great, but has a serious design flaw!

The unit does a nice job but has a serious design flaw. If you use a larger pan, like a 12 inch pan, it likely will melt the plastic side edge surrounding the glass top. It should be constructed with a metal frame or a different material that won't melt. It's impossible to not melt the edge as the glass top insures that if you use a spatula to turn food items in your pan, it will side against the edge and melt it!

" TOO LOUD "

It's everything I wanted in an induction cook top except for one thing. The fan, it's noisy.
