Purchased this because our kitchen aid grinder was worn out. This grinder cut the grinding time in half and was done in an hour which included clean up.

My grinder is like Thomas the Train, the little grinder that “can”! I love it, I’ve ground chicken and beef with little problem. I have not tried the sausage making yet but that is in the near future.

Grind your own chicken for half the cost and control the fat content.

This is our second Cuisinart meat grinder. Nothing wrong with the first one, except I forgot that you are not supposed to put the washable pieces in the dishwasher, so I did (and it wasn't pretty)...boohoo. It would have been almost as expensive to replace the washable parts as to buy a brand-new one, so I bought the same model, again. Great piece of equipment for the home Kitchen. Highly recommend it. Just follow the instructions and don't put any part of it in the dishwasher -- the voice of experience speaking.

I utilize my meat grinder so often. I am glad that it is easy to clean. Don't forget to oil your parts. It works as expected.
