Disappointed

I loved the size of this in that it was a space saver for the kitchen. The section for making regular french fries was great and easy. The section for making potato wedge fries never came out right for me. I used different size potatoes but none seemed to work for me. This was the one features that drew me to buy this french fry cutter. I've got other Cuisinart appliances and I love them. This one just wasn't for me.

Good Product

I gave this as a house gift. The host loves it! I would recommend this to a friend.

Consigned To The Trash Heap

Hard to believe Cuisnart puts its name on this product. It won’t cut through a potato (cut down to size per instructions) and it’s near impossible to extract the part that DID go through without cutting your fingers. Beneath the quality I’ve always found with Cuisnart products before this. Mine went in the trash.

Not Recommended

This item has been very disappointing! With the name Cuisinart you would think this would be an excellent product. It is not easy to push/slam the pusher to cut produce/fruits as actually was shown on the demo. Demonstrator said use 2 hands and press hard! Slamming was not enough pressure at times. Also the pusher is not easy to clean, especially since it is not recommended to be put in the dishwasher. The white grid piece comes apart and is not easily reseated and if it does not come apart, water goes inside and it is difficult to drain. I would not rcommend this item to my worst enemy. Cuisinart should be ashamed to offer this product!

Good value french fry cutter.

Small, compact cutter that works better than expected. No need for an expensive mandolin if the object is to cut fries, thick or thin.

Horrible product. Didn’t cut through potato. Ended up just throwing away.
