I bought these knives in January and loved them. However, now in July, half of the knives have rust despite consistently taking measures to keep them rust free. I contacted Cusinart customer service and they informed me that the warranty doesn’t cover rust. I’m incredibly disappointed as I’ve always seen Cusinart as a reliable brand… not anymore. I would not recommend.

Our overall expectations were lowered after opening the package and discovering one of the knives was delivered with a defect. Not sure how the product passed inspection but we’re returning the set.

Great set!!
Had it for 3 weeks now, and the knives are so sharp and have a classic simple look. Excellent quality. I hand wash after each use (super quick to do) and they shine beautifully

Underwhelmed - Hand wash only :(
I was surprised to learn these knives were hand wash only after accidentally putting in dishwasher upon first use and having rust develop - very disappointed since this does not line up with quality I’ve come to know & appreciate from cuisinart and will influence future purchases :(

They’re a little light weight which I personally didn’t like. Even the big knives are thin and lightweight. So a little disappointing.They’re SUPER sharp as a positive! Everyone complaining about rust, needs to do research on how to maintain the knives. Strictly after using you must wash and DRY immediately!! They should never be left in water in the sink. I will update as time goes on. I couldn’t find not ONE set that didn’t have reviews about rust. Don’t leave them in the sink or wet! I’m almost sure this will prevent rust. Hand wash no dishwasher.
