Had this for a couple weeks and I couldn't deal with it anymore. Getting the kid in and out of it is terrible! My daughter complains how uncomfortable it is. It has everything positioned on the worst place like the recline button etc! I can't adjust the recline without taking the carseat of my car. Definitely not recommended.

I bought this seat because I was a new foster parent looking for a seat that would fit any size child with top-of-the-line safety features. While the seat is bulky, it is made of great, quality materials and soft, comfortable fabric. We started this seat rear facing a 6-pound newborn and the fit was great. He had a good recline and the infant inserts gave him so much cushion. Our next placement was a 14-month-old that rear faced and also fit great. Now, however, we have 23-month and 34-month-old toddlers, and they BOTH have outgrown the rear facing harness heights. At not even two years old, this tall, skinny little girl does not have the 1” clearance below the headrest that is required. Same thing with her not even three-year-old brother. This seat is rated for rear facing up to 50 pounds, which was a huge selling point for us. However, at 23 lbs and 34 lbs, my two toddlers don’t fit. Luckily, I have Graco’s in my husbands car that I can switch to so I can continue to rear face both toddlers in our daily driver. Unfortunately though, our not even three-year-old will have to forward face in the Cybex when in my husband's car. If I could go back, I would have given up the added features Cybex offered and stuck with Graco products from the beginning.

I love the safety features especially you can connect with your phone and tell you about if your child unclipped, the temperature etc.

I like car seat overall, but I regret getting it with sensor safe. No matter what I do (have spent hours on the phone with cybex trying to troubleshoot), no one can figure out why my phone’s bluetooth can’t detect the clip. Also, the button is extremely stiff and requires force to get open. Also where are the cup holders?

We got the cybex eternis s for our then 1 year old. She sits comfortably in the seat. However, I find the features a bit complicated. It is super hard to recline the seat when it is rear facing, as one needs to squeeze the hand between seat and car seat and I can almost never do it. I usually ask for help from someone else, which only works when the car is standing. So I can’t recline the seat when our child fell asleep in it. The cup holder is very badly placed. There is not enough space for it next to the door. And on the other side it is usually in the way or falls out. Features like Changing the safety belt’s length or reclining the hear rest are difficult to find and I have to read the manual for every little detail. Also in our car, the 6 levels of recline comes down to really only two , as the seat goes either up or down and no other position stays in place really.
