Looks Great but is Stretching

We’re using this rug in a kids’ bunk room at a beach house. It looks wonderful with the colorful bedding but the rug stretches and moves around on the pad that was suggested for use on LVP flooring. I’m constantly having to get on my knees and smooth the rug back into place. I’m going to try using rug tape to hold the ends down. Bought a 6x9 size that extends under the beds.
