Can't unscrew lid off descaler DLSC500

I can't get the lid off. Picture on lid is no help. I've tried squeezing and pressing down. I broke seal, but can't get lid to unscrew.

Gran Lattissima Milk Frother Issue

I tried deep cleaning each part of my Delonghi Nespresso Gran Lattissima milk frother by hand but I was still having trouble getting the milk foam and at times just hot milk to function. After using the eco clean product in a last ditch effort I found that it worked very well and now my milk frother functions as new. Great product

Perfect Cleaning System

Tis cleaning system works well. My Magnifica S Cappuccino Smart has been working daily without problems for almost 7 years. The only things I do for the maintenance are to descale the machine when it tells me and clean the milk frothier.
