Cooked a Whole Thawed Chicken on the Oven Setting!
1st Use: Chicken Noodle Soup was the plan for a sick friend.., Cooked a Whole Thawed Chicken on the SS rack insert on the Oven Setting… Simple! Deboned and added to a Stove Top Pot (I could have just cleaned the non-stick insert and used it as well) with the other ingredients. Cleanup was super easy! Just hot water, Dawn and a brush for the grate insert. The non-stick pan cleanup was just a hot water and a Dawn soak, the glass lid just wash and dry as well! This Kitchen Toy is way more than a Crock Pot! Next I will try browning a Pot Roast… save using a pan to sear and the mess… then maybe drain any fat, add some veggies and root crops… All in one pot! I thought back to my College Days… Still need a pan or pot sometimes… but this is a mini-oven plus a cooktop (veggies, steaks… Bone-in Pork Chops) on that grate! Atypical experience
I have bought several different types of deLonghi products before and have always been satisfied. This one was the unusual - but complete - fail. It's more of a "never" cooker than a "slow" cooker. It simply does not heat up enough to cook the food. Not a one-time fail, either. I have tried to make stews, braises, pasta sauces. Not a single time has it adequately cooked the food -- even when programmed to cook for 10 hrs. on high. Don't think it was a "lemon" electrical wiring issue either. The pot heats up, stays turned on, the countdown timer works, the digital readout lights up and works -- for the entire 10 hrs. The food just does not cook to completion. I once had to run it for two back to back 10 hr. cycles just to make applesauce that never even cooked all the way down. In that sense, it has been a complete and utter failure. Expensive ingredients and lots of wasted ingredients.

Excellent all but one part :/
I have had this multi cooker for approximately 9 months. I must say that it takes place of a lot of appliances as well as skillet. I actually love it and hate to see you only give it three stars. Sadly about a month ago the Teflon started to peel at first I thought it may have been something sticking into the pot and put all in it and warmed it up and thoroughly wiped it. I am the only person that has ever used this appliance, and I have never put a sharp instrument in it. I actually had an All Clad one that I loved as well. Sadly I lost it in my Divorce, I should have Fought for it it, lol. So I purchased the DeLongi, knowing that their products are just as good. Which all of the features and sturdy, all but the coating itside :/

Excellent multi functional counter top appliance.
Best small appliance-slow cooker I've owned. And multi-functional. It bakes without heating ip the whole kitchen. Cooks rice perfectly. Will brown/braise the meat & then w/ a switch, will go into slow cooker mode for stew/chili/ roast/ soups.

Plastic peeling off of insert
Put this crockpot on our registry and have loved it but like some other users have mentioned, the lining on the insert is peeling / bubbling off. Certainly don’t want that in our food. Unusable now, very unfortunate.

Great pot but....
After having this machine for a few months the teflon coating on the inner pot seems to be bubbling away due to heat. Non-stick coating in our food is a big issue for us. If there was an inner pot I could buy without the coating I'd rate this 5 stars but for now its unusable.

It nice but
For the price, the pot non-stick pot scratches very easily. The black handles can get extremely hot, it cannot be touched without using a pot-holder. For the price one would expect cool-touch handles. The other features are nice and look good but safety wise, I have to keep looking
