Sturdy workhorse but unwieldy

After a year of use, I thought I'd post. Plus side: It's a sturdy workhorse. Food turns out great. The sides are deep enough to contain food. It cleans up well (if not, a slurry of baking soda, Barkeeper's Friend, vinegar or lemon juice are easy fixes and the pan looks brand new. Though I'm not sure Demeyere would agree on those fixes). Down side: the cooking surface is cramped. It's heavy and unbalanced which makes it unwieldy - and you're talking to a woman who has no trouble lifting her cast iron. It could be that too much weight is in the pan and the handle doesn't sufficiently take on enough of the load. If anyone out there understands, great. I turn to my Industry 11" fry pan much more frequently. It feels better in the hand. Comfortable to use. I just wish it had a lid.
