Diamond Screw Back Stud Earrings

I’m very concerned about the jewelry Macy’s is selling online because the earrings were stamped 925 which indicates Sterling Silver. However, the item I purchased states it’s supposed to be 14k Gold. I wish I could load photos of the earrings. I’m thankful I was about to return them but I don’t feel comfortable purchasing jewelry from Macy’s.

The earrings are not like the display the screw on back does not look the same nor do they screw on you just push it on. It's loose and I am afraid they are going to fall off
