wish there was a flap that covered ends of spouts like most oil and vinegar.

Cute teaspoons. I like the collection. They are just pretty! Probably not for dishwasher to avoid separation of the handle from steel base.

Botanic Garden Dinnerware
I bought several sets of these Botanical Garden dishes about a decade ago from Macy’s.The paint/glazing has not held up well. Not one dish in the collection remains flawless. Within first two years, translucent rings started to appear on the dishes as the coating wore off. We still use them but they are not so pretty anymore and are no longer used for special occasions. I still have a few of the Rose pattern dishes remaining. They have held up much better than the Botanical pattern after thirty years of use and are still beautiful. For the price paid for these dishes, I expected much better quality.

I opened both boxes that were delivered today and 2 of the dinner plates were broken. Only 2 plates of the 144 pieces. I called customer service and they told me I would have to return all 144 pieces in order to get a refund and they could send another shipment for the order. Why not just replace the 2 plates?? I don't want to repack the 2 huge boxes and put all the plates back in their separate boxes and haul them to UPS. Why not just replace the 2 plates?? This aes no sense to me. Or just refund the cost of the 2 plates and I can buy 2 more.
