So I have never been able to wear tall boots in the past because I have muscular calves and couldn't find any to that I could zip up. These wide calf boots by Dr Scholls are beautiful and comfortable, and in fact the shaft leaves plenty of room to spare. If you haven't had luck in the past with boots fitting your larger calf, I do recommend trying these. Beautiful leather! I purchased them in the medium/saddle brown, my usual size 9. [I also ordered a size 9 regular calf boot, and the package I received had two mismatched boots - one is clearly a size smaller than the other - see photo. Sending that pair back!]

Absolutely love the color of the boots they are the perfect boot other than it doesn’t zip up all the way on my calf. Other than that I would have absolutely loved them!

great wide calf and good height
Love the color, height and wide calf fit. The toes are a bit tight though. I will buy these again in the light tan!

Run small
Love the boots. The wide calf is great and they are clearly very good quality. However, I have to return them and re-order in half a size up. They run slightly small. I will definitely be re-ordering in a different size.

these shoes look good and are pretty comfortable to walk in; just be wary as the bottoms do not have that much grip so prone to slipping
