Finally, A Good Night’s Rest!
So we have a Sleep Number bed, but it has not brought that extraordinary sleeping experience I expected. Sleep number has some great features but something was missing. I decided to buy a foam topper & went with this 3 inch topper. When it arrived it was not in a typical branded box, rather it was pad wrapped with commercial clear wrapped in a clear bag. I didn’t care because it still had the new foam smell. I unwrapped it and it was fine. Not sure if Macy’s is trying to reduce packaging waste to keep shipping costs lower and don’t send it in its original box. I laid it on the bed. The king size fit fine and it did have that new foam smell but I didn’t care. I wanted to test out my sleep. Well, both my husband and I had a better nights sleep with this topper. The smell went away after a few days and I feel rested in the morning. Glad I made this purchase. I’ve only had it for two weeks, so I can’t comment on durability.

Terrible customer service
I ordered a mattress topper and received the wrong merchandise. I called the phone number provided to me, was on the line with someone for 30 minutes and then that person cut me off. Then I sent the email provided to me, and it was answered that there is no one monitoring that site. Then I started a chat. This person did send me a shipping label, but was unable to have someone pick it ip. It is a mattress topper, which now sits in my small apartment kitchen because I have no way of packaging it. It is 72"L x 39" W. I also requested a replacement for the correct item. Today I received the same item as a replacement. Again it is the wrong merchandise, still the incorrect item. After chatting with a representative again, I was sent a new return label. However, this label had the same number on it as the original one. This has been a problem since the first day! Terrible customer service. AND I am a long time Macy's customer and credit card holder.
Quite an adventure!
On Friday, 2/21, I purchased a mattress topper from my local Macy's on line. Good sale, great price and ‘if ordered before 4PM will be available for pickup’! Lo and behold, I got an email that my purchase was being processed but wait for the email that says it’s ready. Nothing. Waited all day Saturday. Nothing. Went to my Macy’s and was told - “Oh, we’re told we have two hours to get the item ready but that’s impossible because we don’t have it, so they say, “okay, we’ll ship it.” So it becomes our fault when the customer is angry.” It’s not their fault, it’s Macy’s. I got the customer service web page (was told not to call the phone # as they’d just say, “Oh, yes, it’s being processed, go to the ‘orderstatus’ webpage and sign up for progress report. Big deal. On monday, my progress report said it’s in transit. 24 hours later it still says it’s in transit. Now I know why I cancelled my Macy’s Card and now I’m sure I’ll never buy anything from Macy’s again.
Comfortable and Affordable
This Dream Serenity 3 Memory Foam Mattress Topper King Bedding is comfortable and gave extra comfort. The only thing we experienced that was surprising was that it is hard to turn around in bed, because you sink into the memory foam. It takes getting used to, but it is comfortable.
