The Dyson Big Ball Turbinehead has powerful Dyson suction to remove hair and dirt from every floor type. Self-righting technology Dyson Big Ball canister vacuums are monostatic: they have a single stable resting point. Dyson engineers made this possible using a complex configuration of the vacuum s components. By assembling them in a spherical array, with the heaviest components near the floor, we created a curved body with a low center of gravity. This means that whenever the vacuum is displaced from its resting position, gravitational force will automatically return it. Or more simply, when it s knocked over, it gets back up.   • This was the result of vacuuming a few times. The roller just come out.
  • Wish they would make something like this for purchase. Tool storage was an issue at first.

Dyson canister

The Dyson Canister is so easy for me to use and maneuver. Suction power is great and attachments are great for baseboards and hard to reach places. Macy’s delivery was fast and was delivered in original factory packing and was not damaged in anyway.

great canister vacuum.

I like this Dyson very much. I had a canister vacuum for many years, and I love them. It finally quit and I couldn't find a canister type vacuum replacement anywhere, I was told the canister style wasn't made anymore. I was devastated but then I found this Big Ball canister at Macy's. I ordered it immediately and it took about 4 days and it arrived nicely packaged, everything in place, and yes I have used it 3 times and yes I still have a love affair with my Dyson. It has plenty of suction, the floor attachment is bigger and better than ever. I hope Dyson keeps making the canister. They are lite and that is what I need. I'm not young and lifting those other heavy canisters is just too much for me. Thank you Dyson.

Best Vacuum I have purchased in 40 years!

Lots of suction

After 3 Kenmore canister types, it was time to try Dyson at an unbelievable price. It has incredible suction, almost too much. And the negative here is that you must hold/squeeze on the handle to minimize the suction versus vents as on the Kenmore.This is difficult with older, arthritis hands. But with 25% carpet vs. hard wood flooring, I am opting to love it.

Not the most comfortable

First of all, it has a strong suction. But it takes up a lot of storage space because the hose and wand hang sideways. The power and cord buttons are tiny plastic circles — so small that I’m afraid they’ll break if I try to press them with my foot (and honestly, they’re hard to press with the foot anyway, you have to bend). The wand adjustment is extremely uncomfortable; you have to fully bend down to make it longer or shorter. Overall, not the most comfortable or well-designed product for this price.
