It’s so helpful to have voice control via Siri for this air purifier, which also makes a terrific bedroom fan. It’s quiet at all but the very highest speeds. Being able to use the app to point the air at a particular point in the room is so helpful. The only downside that I can see if that it doesn’t actually integrate with Homekit. So while you can define Siri shortcuts to turn it on, turn it up, oscillate, etc., you can only do that wheh you’re in Bluetooth range. So if you forget to turn it off before you leave home, you can’t do that while you’re away. Still, the voice control makes this perfect for my disabled spouse.

Very low airflow.
Very slow airflow. Not sure if this was meant to be this way? Need to have it really close by to feel even a slight draft and this is at speed 10.

Fabulous Fan/ Air purifier
I like it. It’s quiet, turns 350 degrees and keeps the air fresh. The only complaint I have is I wish even on setting 10 the breeze from the fan was more powerful, however, this is my personal preference. Not an issue with the product. Like my air wrap and vacuum, it was another wise Dyson purchase.

Sensor
The sensor for air impurities quite inefficient. It cannot detect odour unless it is really pungent. Could get a better air purifier from other brand with the same price.

Noisy and lacks air flow.
I was looking for a bedroom fan when I came across this fan with the added purifier. I don't have a large bedroom with the fan only a few feet away from the end of the bed. I can barely feel the air and if you turn it up past setting 8 it's very noisy.

How do you turn this on?
We cannot figure out how to turn this on. Was it supposed to come with a remote? If so, ours did not. We downloaded the Dyson app thinking maybe it was app controlled, it’s not. My husband threw out the box otherwise I’d return it.

Best fan and filter available.
This is the third Gen 1 we have purchased for home use over the past several years. The air purifier works wonders to freshen the air after the weeks long air quality alerts due to the Canadian wildfires. The airflow is diffuse, quiet, relaxing not the usual hurricane of typical room fans. Well worth the price.
