I just bought this. I have natural curly hair. Best results with the diffuser. My hair feels and looks better than when I used my old hairdryer with diffuser attachment. I did notice it does still get hot at the scalp even on low fan and low heat. I just make adjustments.

Amazing! True game changer!

Love it

I got it a few weeks ago. I love it. Yes it’s a splurge but it does cut down significantly on drying time and my hair feels much nicer. I have bleached hair so heat protection is a must. The gentle air attachement works wonders. As far as noise go, it’s ok. The usual Dyson noise, which I feel is lesser than a regular hair dryer. I do also love the fact that it slows down when you set the dryer on the counter, it’s a nice technology to have!

Scalp protection setting never worked

Despite mixed reviews, I purchased the Dyson blow dryer, the scalp protection setting did not work. I returned it and will not purchase another for this reason.
