Battery

The battery doesn't last longer (less than one hour) when using the hoover on maximum power.

The Dyson V11 Extra is designed with three cleaning modes Eco, Auto, and Boost so you can choose more power when needed or a longer run time for bigger areas. Boost mode uses more energy to deliver extra suction, which does shorten the battery life.

I would have given it 5 stars, But.

All in all this V11 vac is excellent and is good all round the house, but the handle could do with a redesign on the comfort front, I find my hand starts to ache after using it for a longer period of cleaning.

Good machine, no operating instructions

Good useful machine. At the price, why does it not come with detailed instructions?. I have 'downloaded' the instructions, but the written details are in very small print which you need good eyesight to read.

Fan of Dyson but disappointed with the V11

Great battery life, great suction power and great filtration. However, really heavy and droning sound Also sometimes hair or dirt get stuck at the upper parts of the bin, have to put your hand inside to take the dirt out. My previous Dyson V6 was much more compact, less dronie and able to completely remove bin. In hindsight should have opted for he V8! V11 poor ergonomics!

Have had for 3 weeks. Great suction and edging. Many attachments. Only downfalls are that it is heavy and doesn't have a light.
