Dyson v12 Detect Slim
I started using my Dyson v12 detect slim a week ago. I bought it because of back issues, needing something light. I like it mostly. It is very difficult for me to attach and detach the long pole which is necessary to empty the dirt bin. I’m happy with everything else.

General cleaning
I purchased my Dyson V12 2 weeks ago and really like it-picks up so much dirt that I didn’t know was there. The green light is great when I think I’ve missed a spot. Suction is amazing. I’ve used a couple of the attachments-dusting with the little brush head and used the hair tool on my porch mats - getting them cleaner than ever. The filter is fine enough that I am not recirculating the dust. Battery has run out after about 25 minutes a couple times, I do get a lot of dirt in my farmhouse. Would recommend this Dyson.

Product quality and returns
I purchased a Dyson vacuum cleaner from the Macy's website. On the evening of the day I received the product, I used it and discovered a serious quality issue. The vacuum tube is extremely difficult to detach from the main unit, making it very hard to use. On the same day, I brought the vacuum cleaner to the Macy’s store located at 5000 Plaza Ln, Montclair, CA 91763, hoping to exchange it for another unit. The customer service staff informed me that the store did not have this product in stock. I then requested to return the item. However, my return request was refused on the grounds that the item had been “used.” I would like to clarify that I received the product only earlier that day, and the brief use was solely to test the product and discover the defect. Importantly, the store staff themselves attempted to detach the vacuum tube and confirmed the issue. It required two staff members to pull the tube off the main unit. Love it!
I am loving this vacuum! It is so light, but picks up every speck of dust and dirt. I have a small home and I can vacuum the whole thing in one charge. I still find myself reaching to move the cord-but it’s not there! The only negative is that I find it quite difficult tonight take remove the tube to empty the bin. The hardwood floor attachment with the lazer is amazing. The carpet head is a step down from our previous V10 model. The new on doesn’t have a vent to adjust for carpet thickness resulting in a hard to push vacuum

Perfect little stick vacuum for hardwood floors! Battery lasts, suction is strong, picks up everything in its way! Love that I don’t have to use a cord. Would definitely recommend this vacuum to anyone!!
