4 days agoJust a girl with a husky and allergies..
100000/10 this is my second dyson in 10 years. I have a husky and im always dealing with dog hair, I also am allergic to her.. the dyson is a God Send… this paired with my air purifier… no allergy meds needed…. It is mych smaller then my older one but the suction is 1 million times better… definitely will be a dyson girl forever!!!

4 days agoI’ve always loved the Dyson but when I got my new one, the 12 it was not picking up any thing and it was the wand that goes to the attachment. But I called and you guys kindly sent me another one. Will try it today.

5 days agocleans dog hair very well, good battery life
I purchased this vacuum to replace one from another brand that was having difficulty with dog hair. I chose this particular model because it automatically clears hair from the roller, and I can attest that it has done so very well. Before using this vacuum for the first time, I cleaned the entire carpet with the old vacuum -- then immediately ran the V12 over the same floor and was, well, floored to see how much more dirt and hair the old vacuum had left behind. Another feature I am very fond of is the green laser on the front which illuminates hardwood floors, letting me see dirt that I otherwise wouldn't know was there. This laser is only found on the hardwood floor attachment. The battery life is more than sufficient enough to clean my entire house (1300 sqft) while on auto mode, and the waste is simple to dump into the trash with a simple push of a lever. Overall, I'm very happy with this product.

This is the best product I’ve ever bought. Quiet, light, intuitive. The laser beam. All the features are so well thought out and feel refined over time. Hopefully a future iteration will have the battery life to keep up, because it makes me want to vacuum every single day.

Battery life is less than optimal (2.5 out of 5). I had to purchase another battery. Suction is a 3.5 out of 5. I expected more from Dyson. Performance is a 3 out of 5. The filtration is ok. You have to empty out the container often. Some of the dirt does stay behind and you’ll have to reach in and grab it. Expect your hands to get dirty. Im really not sure I would make this purchase again.

5 days agoGreat Vacuum - Few drawbacks.
I like the V12. Plenty of power, good suction, and lots of attachments. Battery time could be longer, but that would add weight. Best to get a second battery. The only reason I’m leaving 4 stars is that, in lieu of a decent owner’s manual, they use an app with short videos. Sadly, these videos are the new-age “we don’t talk” videos and do not explain things in detail. For example, how to remove the entire canister to remove tangled hair. Also, some of the tabs and parts are made of cheap plastic and may break easily if not handled carefully.

6 days agoGreat suction and cleaning power. Cleaning out the cylinder leaves the cover full of dust that requires a wipe afterwards. Not a big deal but our older Dyson was better engineered in this respect.

Fantastic for its size
Having read many online reviews for what would be the best cordless vacuum for my needs, I jumped on the sale for my D12. I cannot tell you fellow reviewer/user how pleased that I am. When I first used the laser attachment, I just about lost my mind at how much yuck was left after my Roomba had done it's scheduled run. I continue to be pleased.
