Buy this ASAP!

This is a fantastic vacuum! I enjoy seeing the green light illuminate the specs of dirt, grass, dog hair, etc. that the vacuum is picking up. I have hardwood floors and never knew they would get so dirty. The battery lasts a long time and I never deplete the charge while cleaning my home. It is light and maneuverable. I am super pleased with this vacuum, the best vacuum I have ever purchased!

Surprisingly powerful

Surprisingly powerful! I am pleased with its performance so far. It would have been helpful if the instructions explained how to attach the wand to the handle. Had to find a YouTube someone posted (complaining about the same problem) to see how it fits. Love the light on the hardwood floor attachment; wish there was one on the carpet cleaner as well. It's very beneficial! Having to hold the trigger to activate is a mixed blessing; it gets tiresome after a while, but it does save battery life. It's easy enough to assemble and use to make daily cleaning doable (I have 2 corgis; daily vacuuming is a must).

Love it but needs improvement

I love the Dyson V15 Detect. It’s a beautiful and powerful vacuum. The laser light on the main hard floor attachment is one of my favorite features — it reveals every speck of dust and makes you want to clean the whole house! It’s oddly satisfying. That said, the vacuum is quite heavy, especially on the wrist and arm. The large battery adds to the weight, and while I appreciate the long run time, it does make extended cleaning a bit tiring. I wouldn’t necessarily want a smaller battery, but I do wish the weight was better distributed. Another thing I don’t like is the lack of lighting when using other attachments, like the carpet head or the smaller tools. If you’re vacuuming in a dark corner or under furniture. Overall, it’s a fantastic vacuum in terms of performance and looks, but it could use some improvements in ergonomics and lighting versatility.

Just ok

I thought this vacuum was going to be a game changer. I couldn’t be more wrong. First of all, the best thing about it is that it is definitely extremely quiet. The battery lasts quite long as long as it’s in auto mode. I don’t care for the fact that you have to change heads to vacuum carpet and floors. Also I feel the particle graph is pointless. It never changes and doesn’t reset itself. You have to manually reset it. There is basically no instructions provided with the vacuum. The online chat is less than helpful as well. Not thrilled with this purchase considering how expensive it was. This is now my third Dyson and rest assured it’ll be my last.

Best ever

I purchased this one so I could give the one I had to my daughter we both love them. The battery never runs out even when you use the attachments after vacuuming the whole house. The best part is the light that really shows you what’s on the floor and that it’s gone after you are done. Thank you Dyson

Everything I hoped for!

I splurged on the V15 and I couldn't be happier with it! It's my first stick-style vacuum and it holds up surprisingly well against the dirt my dogs and husband are tracking in. It was easy to assemble, easy to switch attachments, and I love how much it breaks down to ensure you're getting all of the dirt out (no stuck pieces of anything you have to dig out and worry about damaging your expensive vacuum).
