This is my second Dyson. The first one was showing signs of wear and tear. I decided on this one. I liked the damp mop and more suction. It’s great on floors but does not like rugs. I have run it on Eco but turns off and now the head won’t work at all.

I can’t tell you how much I love this vacuum. Cleaning makes it a pleasure. Before I was using a regular vacuum. But with the attachment that has a green light you will be amazed how much dust is on your floors. This vacuum takes care of it. And I don’t have to worry that all this dust goes on my surfaces. With the battery that comes, I can vacuum the whole house without break.Thank you for creating such a powerful and easy to maneuver machine.

Design flaw
Great product…BUT, when using the submarine attachment, your floors better not have ANY dirt on them..little counterintuitive….within 10-30 seconds of using the wet attachment, dirty water starts leaking out the side of the unit…in every case..every time you clean a stroke, dirty water leaks out the side going forward and on the back sweep. Only way to use it is with two cloths on the floor, dragging them behind and in front of the unit to clean all the filthy water that the unit leaks into the floor..troubleshooting( this is a known issue) is to take the u it back apart..no easy feet getting it back together btw… remove the red tray, rinse the entire unit rear put the tray back in reassemble unit reattach to the Dyson handle and try again and within 20 to 30 seconds you’ll be doing it all over again… Very very odd way to build a cleaning machine… On the upside, the green light when vacuuming with the fuzzy brush will terrify you into believing you have the filthiest house on the planet lol.

Not sure about the filtration. The Bin doesn't completely empty leaving the dust and hair caught up. Have to reach in and retrieve. Also the red rubber piece has fallen out several times causing me to have to take the canister apart to fix by snaping back in

Not worth the price
The vacuum function is excellent. Their vacuums tend to be very good so that's no surprised. However I bought this for the mop function as well and that part is awful. The instructions could be clearer. There is a small red part that seems integral to the mop head but it is mentioned nowhere in the instructions. You can see it for a split second in the video but it's unclear how it should be positioned. The mop head barely cleans the floor. I had to go over a small area multiple times just to see any of the dirt picked up. The water capacity is small so you have to detach the mop head several times just to refill and reattaching took too many tries to make this purchase worthwhile. Plus, it leaks. It was disappointing to say the least that my steam mop is a far more superior cleaner than this thing. I have started the return process.

Not an improvement
I bought this a month ago to replace an aging plugin Dyson which has been rock-solid for the last 10 years - what a downgrade. Enshittification strikes again .... like so many other products this latest iteration is nowhere near as usable as its predecessor. Would return it if I could; don't waste your money.
