Easier than Birkenstock...overseas production

Went with these after the Birkenstock path went awry because of the sizing confusion in translating from European. Only complaint is while the company is still family-owned and still in Maine, they outsource all production to China or some factory farm nation. They used to employ hundreds of locals. No one needs to manufacture overseas except to keep prices down. As well as jobs. I pay more for USA-made products because in the end...it's not that much more, or so much more it's going to break the bank.

Careful of the fitting

Only once you start wearing then do you realise that they rub in the inside causing blisters. Of course, having worn them no refund or exchange is possible. I have feet that as a rule do not blister or chaff so can only assume it’s poor manufacturing that was caused the strap to not be aligned properly. Suggest you try them extensively inside before venturing out in them.
