Not happy with shipment from Macy's

Well, the pendant is beautiful, but I'm not sure about the flimsy chain. It's very small and, I'm afraid if it gets caught or pulled, it would easily break. Is it supposed to be white or yellow gold? One picture shows yellow and another shows white. Also, it did not arrive in an Effy box as it should have. Was sent in a cheap Macy's box. No other paperwork like the matching ring.

Now I have the necklace to go with the earrings and bracelet. The pendant is just as it appears and am very pleased with it. The 18" chain was too long for my taste so I used a 16" chain instead and it looked great.
