Ring did not meet expectation

I purchase this ring about a year ago. Never wore it I kept it in my ring careers . I took it out recently to wear for an occasion, I saw black spots all over the ring. I call customer service and they told me there is nothing they can do about it unfortunately. I’m very disappointed. I have purchase a lot of good rings from effy and was not expecting this one to turn out this way.
