Love the new style in my favorite pant
I own multiple pairs of the slim ankle version of this pant, which has been my go-to for years. However, the fabric and cut changed over the last couple of years, and I initially left a one-star review for the updated slim ankle version. I’m revising that now to four stars. While the fabric is not as high-quality as it used to be, I decided to size down from my usual Medium to a Small to see if the fit improved, and it did. Sizing down made a noticeable difference, and the pants now fit much more like my older versions. For this kick pant, I ordered a Small in Ink, which is my favorite Eileen Fisher neutral. The fabric is the same as the current slim ankle pant, but the details elevate it: the waistband is slightly wider (a big improvement), and the non-functional back pockets give it more of a tailored, trouser-like look. The length is perfect on me at 5'6", and the kick silhouette feels modern and fresh with every shoe I’ve tried—flats, loafers, and booties all work beautifully. If you’ve loved the slim ankle pant over the years, I highly recommend trying this kick version. It feels like a thoughtful evolution of a longtime favorite.

A little long
I expected the fit to be different. Not so long. These are like to the ankle. I thought would be a little shorter. Otherwise same gray material as always.

Updated flare in favorite fabric
I like the slight flare of these pants which give them an updated look. I’m 5’3” but ordered the XS so they would hang more like full length than ankle like the model. The ink color is a classic, warmer alternative to all the black pants in my wardrobe

Home run!
Really cute. I am 5-7, size 14 and I wear a M. I might wish they were 1/2 inch shorter for a more spring look but they are a great lightweight fabric and adorable on. I like the faux pockets in back.
