I bought it (from Macy) because I liked the features and it was the right size for my small space. Took it out of the box- it's perfect. No dings or dents. However, when it came time to take the liner out of the can, the cover doesn't lift to a 90 angle. Nor can I lock the lid open (as it clearly says it could on the side of the box) Ok there must be a manual somewhere and go digging in the box. Nope. Call customer service... they don't know either how to fix this (or even if it's the way it should actually be) and promise to have someone give me a call back. 48 hours later - nothing. So I plopped it back in the box and returned it. Save your money and go with another one. And another maker.

This is the best trash can I've ever owned! The design of this trash can is well thought out. I like that you can put it right against the wall and the lid won't mark up the wall behind it. Also the can is fingerprint proof which is important to me. I am completely satisfied with this trash can.

Absolutely beautiful!
Beautiful garbage can. I love the look of stainless steel. This has a soft close lid so its quiet. The whole lid does lift to put bags in. But is flat so if it's against something it doesnt lean the can forward. Unlike ones that have a more rounded top. It's the perfect size for a regular sized or bigger kitchen.

Wonderful Trash Can
I received my Cozy Big Lid 45L Rectangular SS Body & Lid Step Bin with liner last week. I like that it is made of stainless steel. It has a 10-year warranty. It has a storage for bags on the back of the can. The size 15.9" W x 13.3" D x 25.8" H is perfect. It has a strong stainless steel step pedal. Stylish Trash Can!
This is the best quality trash can I have ever used! I have been using it since I got it and I love it. The lid is big and I like that I can use the foot petal to open it. There’s also a way to lock the lid while it’s open if you need to use it like that. The lid doesn’t slam when it closes so that’s a big plus for me. My favorite thing about this trash can is that it has a built in holder to keep your trash bag in place and it does work. The stainless steel look goes with any kitchen decor. It’s easy to keep clean and it’s really a beautiful trash can. I am very happy with this trash can!

Excellent quality trash bin!
This is a huge improvement over my previous stainless steel trash bin. Foot pedal opens the door easily but without "clanking" it open. The door has a "soft-close" mechanism so it doesn't slam shut. It closes so smoothly and quietly! There is a plastic piece near the top that holds the trash bag liners in place, which is a very useful feature so that the liners don't somehow disappear. Finally, my favorite feature is that this is a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish so the surface looks clean and smudge-free! A little on the heavy side, but since I won't be moving the trash bin around, it's a plus as it's less likely to tip over. Highly recommended!

love this trash can
The Cozy big lid 45l Rectangular SS Body & Lid Step Bin w/Liner is the perfect size for my kitchen. I love that it has the liner to keep the bag from falling down. The step to open the lid is really convenient and makes throwing trash away a breeze.
