Do NOT buy it!!

it broke after 1 month of use. Very disappointed. Plus it is most definitely not a 6 cup rice cooker.

Works great....just need to add a bit more water!

It works great, but the first couple of batches of rice we made were a little crunchy. It may just need a little more water than is indicated in the instructions. We will keep adding a bit more water at a time until the rice cooks to perfection!

Beware description is inaccurate.

I ordered this but didn't open the package for some weeks. I was extremely disappointed to find that although it is described as a "6-Cup Rice Cooker", inside in the instructions, the "cup" measure is not the same as a standard 8oz cup. The small measuring cup they provide is only about 3/4 cup, so I it is impossible to produce 6 standard cups of rice. Very deceptive.

good value

Finally I don’t have a pan on the stove I have to babysit. I am glad I bought this one and I don’t need to feed the neighborhood so the small size is perfect plus it’s a one and done thing because it does other things. Get this one while it’s on sale. It really makes your cooking rice not a chore but easy put it on and find something else to watch.
