No Printed Instructions..I don’t recommend it

Unless you are willing to download the booklet, there are no instructions. I would not recommend this product.

Just no.

Returned. Water was all over the counter using this and very hot to handle if you have to pick it up to add more water. I could almost deal with that but my rice was undercooked after 30 minutes. I let it go longer and it just came out all wrong. I’m sure it was because of the water problem. Condensation combined with wobbly plastic pieces that don’t make a tight fit or seal made for too much of a mess and undercooked food. I don’t recommend this one.

Great quality great price

Simple, easy to use steamer. I use the steamer 3-4×/week. My hamilton beach steamer conked out after a few years. That was a good steamer too but got expensive. This steamer is just as good. The steaming baskets are a softer plastic not real hard or rigid like my other steamer. The baskets fit inside one another for storing. Overall it is a great simple steamer.

Easy To Use

The Elite Gourmet Food Steamer is a great way to steam cook food. It is straightforward to use if you read through the instruction booklet. The cord is short, approximately three feet long, but the manual explains this is for safety reasons and you can use an extension cord if needed. I cooked rice and hardboiled eggs at the same time, which was exciting to me. When you turn the timer knob, the light turns on in front of the unit and you can hear the timer ticking. When time is up, there will be a short ding and the unit will turn off. I did not pay well enough attention to the instructions and added more water to the rice basket then I was supposed to. After twenty minutes steam time, I realized what I did wrong, emptied the extra water and steamed for another ten minutes and it turned out fine. I made hard boiled eggs on the second tier and they came out beautifully. Cleaning this unit is simple and the baskets stack nicely for storage. I cannot wait to steam more foods using this food steamer.

Easy to use food steamer

Elite Gourmet 9-quart Stainless Steel 3-Tier Food Steamer is very easy to use food steamer. It comes with three racks, rice pan and instruction book which has recipes too. Its properly numbered so can easily put together. Its nested store, so compact to keep after use. Its very easy to clean as well, water container as well as drip pan. The steamer worked great, as cooking time mentioned in book. I absolutely loved it. Looking forward to try new heathy food.
