It is NOT waterproof

I bought this a year ago, just never got tested but last night my son spilled something and the mattress protector did not do its job. The matress got wet. Very very disappointed:( DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT

Horrible, slips off and feels thin. The brand is well appreciated for their pillows, but not this protector.
