Why did I wait so long to buy this?

This heats the water faster than a stovetop kettle, it's easy to use & easy to clean. It doesn't take up much counter space and has quickly become part of my morning routine.

Works well but…

Everything about this kettle is good, except for one thing. The spout is not at all user friendly, because it's made of plastic. Have to be extra careful while pouring boiling water

Mainly Plastic

This product is mainly plastic. The only stainless steel is the outer sleeve. The spout, interior, lid, handle and base are all plastic. It takes about 6 minutes to heat up. It has an automatic shut off and an led blue light that is about the only thing I find attractive. I initially bought this for my house, but instead I’ll be using this in my travel trailer and buying a different/better product for my house. Neither the product nor the packaging shows where it’s made/manufactured.

Concerning brown spots on the bottom of the kettle

This kettle heated my water very quickly, and I really like the wrapped/hidden cord. However, after one use, the steel bottom on the inside had brown stain marks that were concerning. I will be returning and purchasing a different kettle altogether.

Looks good

It's silver outer layer looks very good. There is plastic inner lining, pour spout and filter. I worry that plastic would melt. However, I tried after cleaning. It is very fast (I boil water on stove to compare time). The blue light is quite pleasant, not too bright. It has auto shut off feature. However, it does not keep warm. If I don't use it right away, water will cool down.
