Not sure yet

Note sure yet? While cooking meat, it sticks. Everything seems to stick. I do think it needs to cure. I am not giving up on it.

Least Expensive Purchase

The saying "you get what you pay for" is correct. Thru the years I have purchased several grilling plates some with Easy Off features some plain, but all have been "inexpensive" and all have had a life of but a few usages before the warp and bend into an unusable shape. Thus far the Emeril Hard Anodized Double Burner Grill Pan has stood the test of time, cooking quick meals without the fuzz required on other pans, great flavor (the chef) and ease of clean up, it will be here for many meals to come. Like I said, the least expensive purchase I have made in grill pans to date.

2 products in 1, Durable, Great size

This product is great for its versatility in being a grill on one side and griddle on the other. My boyfriend loves to cook and cooks pretty much everything (other than pasta! lol) on this thing - we've had chicken, beef, veggies, pancakes, eggs. I wouldn't recommend for eggs though as they run into the divets on the outer edge and get caught in there. This is best for an electric stove and is a much better size fitting our burners perfectly than the single-burner one Emeril's line carries. It is very heavy, but of course, it's cast iron so it will be! It also does get very smokey in your house if you do not have a hood (we live in a rental with no hood). Cleaning is a HUGE PAIN which is why no 5 stars. Every time, it needs special steps, like veg oil and salt and even then that doesn't get everything. It also will need a special tool like a nylon brush, of course not metal, and even sometimes that also doesn't get everything off. Chicken seems to stick but not really any of the other foods we've cooked. We've used it so often that it stays put on the stove at all times as if it were built in but sometimes because cleaning is such a pain, it doesn't get cleaned right away.
