Poor quality

Nice looking but very weak and poor quality. We had to return 2 of them within 2 weeks; leaning Back in a chair, the chain was snagged on a T-shirt and came apart. A second chain came Apart the first day wearing it doing absolutely nothing. Will not replace.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I purchased this necklace as a gift and paid more than the current listed price. I declined the Care Plan since I’ve never had issues with fine jewelry in the past. However, I was disappointed to learn from the recipient that the chain broke after just a few days of wear. When I called the store to report the issue, both the salesperson and the supervisor told me my only option was to return the jewelry for a replacement. That makes little sense to me when the chain is clearly defective—something that other reviews also mention. I expected better quality and customer service from Macy’s. It’s unfortunate that a piece meant to be a meaningful gift turned into a frustrating experience.

Broke after wearing it two days

Broke after wearing it two days. I bought this as a gift for Christmas and you would think it being 14k gold it would be durable. After wearing it to sleep, the necklace broke. I gave two starts because at least customer service was responsive and allowed me to get the necklace replaced or fixed for no charge.

Chain is trash - don't buy

This chain was supposed to be a special First Communion gift for my godson and the first day he tried to wear it, it broke into 3 pieces. It's trash, do not buy it. This was absolutely embarrassing.

Beautiful cross!

This cross has fine, subtle engraving. The yellow gold is a beautiful bright yellow color. It feels a little light in weight, but strong and substantial. It's a good deal in my opinion because you get the charm AND a 20" rope chain. I gave it as a confirmation gift to a 13-year-old boy and he really loved it.
