The color film is peeling off. The bowls have a nice rubber bottom but are cheap looking due to this color issue.
Zero Stars!
The color plating on these bowls started coming off immediately upon use. I've had them for over a year, and they are nearly all silver now, but as the red coating continues to come off, it gets into whatever food I'm mixing in the bowls. I have purchased mixing bowls from a dollar store that are higher quality than these. Extremely disappointing, and I would never recommend purchasing these.
HUGELY disappointed
These bowls are the right sizes, and they look terrific, but after careful use and care over only two months the paint is already chipping off. Not a big deal for function, but, still, a real eyesore. It's a shame they didn't see this coming.
Peeling Finish
The finish has peeled after less than 3 uses and hand washing. They look beautiful, but you can’t use them and keep the beauty. The rubber bottom is a nice feature, but not enough to overcome the peeling paint. Also,now after about 6-10 uses the whisk has scratched the inside of the bowls. Cheap bowls for a cheap price when on sale.

Poor Quality product
I purchased these bowls solely for their beauty and practical utility. As for their use, they serve as mixing bowls; however, they are so thin that I thought for sure they were plastic, not stainless steel. But what truly angers me is that the color peeks off! I washed them by hand and saw the color peel off in my hand! I believe that the cheap plastic covering that makes that brilliant color can not withstand the heat. I was using platter gloves, but the water wasn’t too hot. The color peeled off in strips like paper. I’m so disappointed that I’m returning the matching tea kettle for fear that the color will peel off the very first time I use it. Very cheap quality bowls with ever poorer quality color. I do not recommend for purchase.
Mixing bowls
The bowls are so nice looking that you could serve right out of them. They are sturdy and I am very happy with the purchase.
