Christmas gift ok only lasted 2 days

Bought this necklace as a gift for my 25 year old son who works in law enforcement. Asked him to not take it off except overnight for protection. He got home after work and wearing it for 2 days and the chain just fell off with no sign of the cross. I'm very disappointed in the quality. Do not buy.
