It's worth the sale price.

Simply in light, it will shine blue kind of like a blue LED light. In the dark or dull light, it will look relaxed, and more stainless steel will show (less blue and dull in appearance, will see more of a silver and dark blue/blackish color). I recommend doubling it with a sliver chain that's a tab bit longer. The silver shine will keep the blue hue showing most of the time.

Not so blue after all...

The weight is perfect, and the blue is far more subtle than it appears in the pictures, which is a really good thing (I was worried about it being too "bright" and compromising my fragile masculinity <grin>). The only thing I don't like is the little brand tag, but if it gets annoying I will cut it off. Not sure it is worth the original price, but the sale price is a tremendous value... gonna get the bracelet as well, which is oddly more expensive on sale than the necklace.
