Convenient

Modern look
I love the modern look of this car seat, it is not bulky at all. Has a lot of cushion so very comfy for long rides. It has removable cup holders in case baby needs a little more room. I have a honda pilot and it fits great rear facing,when I'm driving my husband is 6'4 so when he's driving baby might come up a little more but still looks comfortable to me. The seat is a little tricky to maneuver if you need to adjust the tether I couldn't figure out how to adjust it, and the cover came off when I was trying to lift it. Purchased 2 one for each car.

Great and Safe Carseat
I fell in love with the carseat, and I absolutely love that it worked so well for my son. I drive a mini van and this fit perfect for us, it was so easy to install and held in place. I am one of those mom's that care about safety and I get that with this carseat. The manual was easy to read and understand. I would even gift this carseat to any of my friends or family with little ones.

Secure & Comfy
The seat is very comfortable for my 14-month-old. I like it because it is easy to install and clean. With very little work, I was able to take the straps out this last week to clean them (my LO regularly lets his milk drool out of his mouth after drinking, so it makes a mess). I like the neutral colors as well, and that it is convertible, so I'm not having to buy multiple seats for each phase.

Good but some flaws
So my husband and I bought the advanced stratos at Walmart. We bought it because this car seat is super cushioned, breathable and we liked the safesensor feature. So far our only complaint is that the chest clip is SUPER hard to slide up. Like so hard that I accidentally hit our daughter in the face because my hand slipped trying so hard to pull it up. Other than that we enjoy having our new car seat! It has helped our daughter TREMENDOUSLY! Oh AND i had to watch a video on how to install the car seat because they instructions were unclear (that’s just me though)

Terrible For Rear Facing
We own several Evenflo car seats and have been satisfied with every seat we have purchased except this one. I decided to purchase the Stratos after reading so many good reviews. We needed a seat for our nanny that was light weight for her and affordable. This seemed to fit the bill. We recently borrowed the Stratos seat from her since we were traveling by plane and didn't want to lug our 25 lb convertible seat through the airport. Installing forward facing on the plane was not an issue but rear facing in the rental car was a total nightmare. The flip out recline piece is chincy and I thought that it would break off at any moment. It didn't matter what position the recline was in, it was never level and prevented the seat from being secure. We tried installing it in three different vehicles, using a blanket to try and get it level and it was never even remotely secure in any of them. After literally spending HOURS trying to install this seat rear facing we turned it forward facing just so that we could go to the fire station for help. We really did not have any other options since the car rental company did not have any rear facing car seats available for rent either. At the fire station, they were dumbfounded as well as to why this seat was not installing securely. We all read the manual several times over and the seat was still loose. We ultimately had to drive with it as-is because we exhausted all our options. To say that I was a nervous wreck driving with my 15 month old in this seat is an understatement. I'm extremely disappointed with the Evenflo Stratos.
