Knives failure to perform basic function

Received and tried these knives. Simply put, they don't cut, slice or otherwise perform as a knife. never experienced this with any knife (even cheap ones) Don't buy it!

Excellent display, nice cutlery. It’s a really nice first time cutlery set for anyone just starting out or replacement of an old set. It’s not top chef knives but great for getting all your chopping needs completed. I would recommend this set to anyone needing just a good set of knives and not a lot of counter space.
