Tracking Sleep Inconsistent.
This is the second Charge 5 Fitbit purchased within a year. The first I returned to a different retailer. Purchased from Macy’s earlier this year…now the same problem. It does not always tract my sleep properly.. It sometimes track the earlier hours but if I go to the bathroom about 3:30 then it doesn’t track the next 3-4 hours of sleep! Not a very reliable product re: tracking sleep correctly!
If it's not a lemon, it's a great device!
The Fitbit Charge 5 I received was a lemon that would not upload a factory update no matter what I tried, even after scouring the internet for solutions and contacting the Fitbit customer service. After returning it back to Fitbit, they sent back... a BAND, not a device. One month, five frustrating and lengthy phone calls to both Fitbit and Google customer service later, I finally received a proper replacement. THAT one works like a charm! None of this was Macy's fault, of course (which Google tried to convince me it was...). As long as the device you order works out of the package, you will love your Fitbit. If not, be persistent in dealing with Fitbit's customer service!

buy a different tracker
“Find my phone” is useless! Sensitivity of screens is unpredictable. Sometimes you have to tap hard, sometimes soft., sometimes doesn’t respond at all. I understand it’s a stripped down tracker but the little it offers is not reliable at all.

SO DISAPPOINTED!
Have had my Fitbit Charge 5 for less than a year, and am having random battery issues as well as other issues (randomly changes time zones! Not Cool!) Have dealt with the customer service people at Fitbit, and what they want me to go through to trouble shoot would be like taking on two additional children in my life. Just not worth it. SO DISAPPOINTED.

My favorite—
This is my favorite Fitbit of all-/and I’ve owned and used practically all of them, from early days to present. Oh, it does have some flaws, and gets a little twitchy sometimes, but don’t we all? Fitbits customer support has never let me down yet.

Don't waste your money
I've had different fitbits for nearly 8 years now, my Charge HR 2 is still working after 6 years of daily wear. THIS one though is just garbage. It broke after only 3 months. The band is also very sweaty, I'm constantly taking it off to wipe it and my wrist down.
