My new favourite accessory
Having used smart watches for the past few years i was worried that I wouldn't get on with a new watch but the functionality on the Q venture made the transition really easy, and I love how it looks. The design of the watch is great. It's really stylish and professional looking and a lot less bulky than some others i have tried. The watch face is rose gold with a tan fabric strap which compliments it perfectly and goes really well with different outfits. Functionality wise i found it really easy to connect the watch to my phone and i love that you can personalise the watch face, i especially liked being able to see the battery on screen. It's really easy to use and navigate - swipe up for quick actions and down for notifications and even on the small screen texting was really easy. The main benefit of the watch for me was the great battery life! There is nothing worse than your watch running out battery when you're out and about and I really didn't need to worry as with a full charge i was able to make the battery last nearly 2 full days! I only needed to charge it more regularly when using the apps or google assist regularly but even then it lasted all day no problem. The charging pad charger which came with the watch was really easy to use and fitted straight into the charger block i already own.

Q Venture Review
Aesthetically speaking I love the Fossil Q Venture watch, I’ve had a lot of people compliment me on the watch and ask about it, which is always a good sign, I feel. It might just be due to having had some links removed from the strap of the watch but the face does seem to be rather heavy on the wrist, but that could just be me. I love the design of the watch, it’s definitely something that would attract me if I were shopping for a smartwatch, my only aesthetic criticism would be that the strap and links tend to scratch fairly easily, other than that aesthetically it’s perfect. In terms of the every day functioning of the watch I do find that I use the functions more at the weekend, when I can actively look at any notifications I receive and don’t mind keeping the Wear OS App open and my Bluetooth on in order to do this. Otherwise I mostly use the watch offline for the time and for the Health elements of step tracking and exercise management. It would be better if the watch could function without having to have the App open and just connect to a wi-fi connection to function. The watch requires a lot of charging, I’ve found that I have to charge it every night in order for it to retain its battery and that’s without actually using a lot of its functions every day, although that might be due to the watch continually searching for Wi-fi hotspots. I like how simple it is to use the watch in terms of accessing messages and the menu, the watch is very responsive to touch, which is great once you get the hang of which direction to swipe for certain things. I also really like the different face themes that can be used on the watch face as flitting between different options can make the watch look completely different. Overall I am very happy with the watch and think that it will be something that I will enjoy exploring further in terms of what it can offer on a daily basis.

Beautiful watch!
I've had this watch for about a month now, and I love it! I've had many people say it looks like a REALLY nice watch and it is. It's very sleek and not any heavier than any other normal watches and the size isn't huge compared to my tiny child size wrist, even the strap fitted without needing extra holes which is a rarity! I also love that I can swop the straps easily with the quick realise bar. There are functions on the watch that I love such as the notifications, I get a buzz from my watch if someone rings, texts, facebook, emails, calendars ect. a vast improvement from my previous watch aswell as being able to go back or skip a song as well as change the volume I found out one day, that was cool. I did find that texting off of the watch isn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be it does take some practise but it a good feature that works, I haven't tried answering a phone on it but I did do the google help which was freaky to see the mic work on my watch but I presume you would still need your phone rather than answering your phone while it is in your pocket. The vast customizable watch face is SO cool, it did take me a while to work it out but I had fun playing around with different styles, colours and little add ons I can put on the watch face such as my steps or what the weather feels like outside (the face I chose gave me 3 options and showed the date) and you can download more on there to. I also found functions such as being able to put it into sleep mode so I don't get disturbed during the night handy, aswell as changing the screen options to always stay on, comes on by movement whcih made the watch become more personal. I work in a fast paced enviroment and have often hit my watch against a hard surface which I was scared had damaged my watch but was happy to see it's a solid made watch as there isn't a scratch on it, however I still might get a screen protecter just in case! I have found some downsides to the watch tho, firstly I wish fossil had a instructions book with the watch as I still don't know the full lot this watch can do also a few bits have come up and I'm guessing what they mean which is a pain. Connecting the watch to my phone was easy yet the app doesn't help at all which is dissappointing, it's more just functions as a connection than has much use, it would have been good to see a overview or have a option to go through the watch but there isn't. Also I was a bit bumbed when I realised I couldn't get the simple calendar app from my phone on my watch so often have to just use my phone but the watch has displayed all the notifications which I find useful. The battery. I have to charge it EVERY night otherwise I would be lucky getting through 2 days which is a big annoyance especially when it take a hour or so to charge, I have ended up having the charger permantly plugged in on my bedside and I just put the watch on it when I go to bed which is okay but not if you forget. On just a personal note, even though this watch is a big improvement on a previous 'smart' watch I had (it only showed text and calls) but I do miss being able to go swimming with my watch or having sleep tracker or a heart rate monitor on it aswell, but it is only minor for me so not been too bad. It would have been good to have sleep tracking on it, but the battery would need to improve. Overall, it is a good solid beauitful watch that I miss if I forgot to charge.

Love it!
Been waring this for few weeks now and and it's shocking how quick you get used to it and can't go without. It's so convenient to have your phone on the wrist. Set up was quite easy and intuitive with tutorials guiding you through it step by step. The look is a bit masculine but it works if want to make an impression. All features work as described on the website. Shame that it's a bit too big to be worn in the gym even though it is water resistant (I'm just too scared to smash it). The thing that I love the most is the notifications from my calendar/ to do list. I'm trying to learn new habits and this watch is definitely helping me to achieve it. I can't upload a photo at this time, not sure is it my phone or the review app is not allowing to upload a file.

Fab!! Great watch that’s packed with features.
I was pleasantly surprised by this watch and how easy it was to set up. Simple instructions to help you, so you get the most out of it. The watch itself looks stunning, very classy and surprisingly isn’t as heavy as it looks, I love the fact that I can change the look of my watch face instantly - there are loads of different watch faces you can access - great for co-ordinating with your outfits. My only criticism with the Q venture and the reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that it doesn’t seem to work well with iOS - (I think android is the way forward here!) such a shame as it does come packed with features. However, I do love the fact that I can check messages/notifications on my phone through my Q venture without having to keep looking at my phone - this itself saves me so much time per day, and as a busy mum of 3 any time saved is a bonus!

Great apps!
Okay so I bought this watch a month ago, and being an air hostess a watch is a necessity, and this does everything I need it to and more - I love counting my steps and normally so that using my phone but unfortunately can't carry my phone when I'm working up and down the aisle on a plane so having a step counter on the watch is just amazing. Another's useful app on here is the translate which has been a god send, going to different countries I find that alot of people don't speak English, and similarly I don't speak their mother tongue so the watch is useful for the language barrier just speaking into it and then translating it for me, means I've got no angry passengers. I love the watch face designs and variety that comes with it, between having the digital and analogue designs it gives me the option to mix it up, another useful feature is the torch which is handy when the aircraft power hasn't been switched on. The last feature worth a mention is the connecting to the phone and music, being able To change the music from the watch is handy when I'm working behind a bar as it means I've not got to trapse it to my phone to change the song. Only downside to the watch was I had to get it shortened and it is hugggggee!! Not ideal for small wrists unless you get it changed, it's also heavy but that's expected.
