Fossil watches are no longer what they used to be! I always went for Fossil without a second thought but will need to think twice before making a purchase from them. Quality is poor, dial is light, overall watch appears too weak.

Beautiful but caused rashes

This watch is absolutely beautiful. I adore the rose gold finish, the feminine diamond details, and the subtle date digits — it looks elegant, refined, and perfect for everyday wear or dressier occasions. Unfortunately, during our hot and humid Aussie summer, I’ve developed a nasty rash on the top of my wrist, directly under where the watch face sits. It doesn’t seem to be from the stainless steel backing, but rather from the coated metal around the watch base and crown knob, which appears to be irritating my skin when I sweat. I’ve never had this kind of reaction before, even from much cheaper metal watches (including cheaper Elite watches), so I’m left wondering what materials or coatings are used in this model. It makes me question whether there may be nickel, cobalt, or certain metal polymers in the coating that I’m reacting to. Such a shame, because the design is stunning — but those with sensitive skin or metal allergies may want to be cautious, especially in warm, humid conditions. I did not expect this for the price I paid and popular Fossil brand name.

Nice design. Poor quality.

Nice design watch however within the few months after purchase a diamond detail from the watch face and band had fallen out and this was not covered on warranty.
