Replacing My 20 Year Fossil Bag
The leather is not as supple as I had hoped but the bag is big enough for all my things. I bought this to replace my previous Fossil bag that was about 20 years old but the zipper finally stopped working. The old bag was much higher quality, thicker leather, more heavy duty strap connectors and buckle. I am a little concerned with the width of the shoulder strap. Does not seems thick enough for the size of this bag.

Looks great but good luck finding your stuff
This is a beautiful bag. Hangs well and very comfortable to wear. However...it has very little in the way of convenience. Small slash pocket designed to blend with the side...blended so well, you can't easily find it. The opening is smaller than the interior of the pocket which at best will hold a small Apple phone or set of keys. That's it for the outside. Inside has two side by side open pockets which aren't very deep. And then you have the vastness of the interior. I feel like Mary Poppins digging through a carpet bag trying to find stuff. It's the only place to put my large Samsung phone and that is definitely not convenient. Must have been designed by the kind of person who only carries keys and a wallet

Good design & size, poor quality lining/sewing
Good design, love the secret external pocket. Great size, fits lots of things. But that’s now irrelevant as the bag has essentially become unusable after the lining shredded at the seams in multiple places after about a year & a half of use. The torn lining continues to fray and tear further each day, loose threads everywhere, and my belongings keep falling into the abyss. I’m really disappointed because I otherwise quite liked the bag. For the price, and for a supposedly good quality brand like Fossil, is really not acceptable.

my bag quest is finally over
i have a general rule against writing reviews, because we are all inundated with requests to review the products and services we use. i am taking the time to write this review, because i really really really adore this bag. the leather is sublime; the straps are sturdy and offer several options for wear; the ample interior is simple and well-designed; the styling covers the gamut from super casual to super dressy. it is nearly the perfect bag. my only critique would be the gold/brass metal details - i prefer silver. but still, i love it.
